Calls for Papers > Call for Papers RFIAP

Submitted papers can be either in English or in French and we encourage several kind of submissions:

 The submission website can be found here

  •  Papers recently accepted (2023 or 2024) to high level conferences or journals. These papers should be submitted in the original conference format (length and style).
  • Long original papers. They should not exceed 8 pages (plus at most 2 pages for the references)  in RFIAP format. They will receive at least two reviews.
  • Short papers that present original ideas and provide an opportunity to describe significant work in progress. They should be up to 2 pages long in RFIAP format (excluding references, a suitable LaTeX template will be available soon). They will receive at least two reviews.

 You have to use one of the following templates for your submission:

RFIAP is an interdisciplinary gathering of researchers at the intersection of pattern recognition, image, perception, and machine learning applied to these topics.

This year, RFIAP will be held jointly with CAp (Conférence sur l'Apprentissage automatique) 2024. Sessions on topics of common interest for the two communities will be organized.

Below is a summary of the important dates and the main novelties of these editions:

1. RFIAP will be held jointly with CAp;
2. RFIAP will take place from the 1st to the 3rd of July 2024;
3. The NEW submission deadline for the RFIAP is April 7, 2024 ;
4. Papers accepted in international conferences or international journals can be submitted for oral presentation;
5. The authors will have the possibility to write a rebuttal to the reviews.

We encourage the submission of full research papers (6-8 pages) as well as short papers (2 pages). The short papers track provides an opportunity for sharing valuable early-stage work or results of pluridisciplinary work and encourage discussions. Submitted papers can be either in French or in English.

We also encourage the submission of recent papers accepted to high level conferences and journals in pattern recognition. Papers should be submitted with the same deadline as the regular papers. The conference where the paper was published must be specified at submission. These papers will also be reviewed by the program committee. If accepted, they will be presented at the conference but will not appear in the proceedings.
