Calls for Papers > Call for Papers CAp

CAp is an interdisciplinary gathering of researchers at the intersection of machine learning, applied mathematics, and related areas. The submission website can be found here.

Submitted papers can be either in English or in French and we encourage several kind of submissions:

  • Papers recently accepted (2023 or 2024) to high level conferences. These papers should be submitted in the original conference format (length and style). They will receive a single light review.
  • Long original papers on the theme of machine learning theory and its applications. They should not exceed 12 pages in CAp format (excluding references and appendices, a suitable LaTeX template is available here). They will receive at least two reviews.
  • Short papers that present original ideas and provide an opportunity to describe significant work in progress. They should be up to 8 pages long in CAp format (excluding references and appendices, a suitable LaTeX template is available here). They will receive at least two reviews.

This year, there will be no proceedings. The works accepted for presentation will be listed on the website with, optionally, a link to the full papers when provided by the authors.

All the accepted papers will be given the opportunity to be presented as posters at the conference. Some papers will also be presented in oral presentations, either during a CAp only session or during a CAp/RFIAP joint session (for papers that were more specifically identified as being at the intersection of the two conferences). These presentations are an opportunity to have constructive and rigorous feedback, as well as to establish contacts with members of the french machine learning community. PhD Students are particularly welcome and encouraged to submit papers.
